About Sienna
Sienna Sanchez (b. 2001) is a realistic figurative artist based in Winter Haven, Florida. Raised in Queens, New York, she discovered her passion for drawing at an early age, inspired by her uncle's graffiti art. She attended the High School of Art and Design in 2015 before earning an Associate of Arts degree from Broward College in 2021. Primarily self taught, Sanchez refined her technical skills through classical training at Miami International Fine Arts in 2024. Following her marriage, she relocated to Central Florida, where she maintains a full-time studio practice, creating contemporary figurative works from her home studio.
Working in oil, charcoal, and graphite, Sanchez creates realistic figurative works that bridge classical craftsmanship and contemporary expression. Rooted in personal experience, her paintings and drawings examine femininity, identity, and the complexities of human connection. Through expressive mark making, rich color, and careful observation, Sanchez renders her subjects with emotional resonance. She regards the creative process as inseparable from the finished work, allowing each piece to reveal both technical discipline and lived experience.
Sanchez has exhibited in numerous juried exhibitions and galleries across the United States. In 2025, her painting Daydream received Best in Show at the 53rd Annual Lakeland Arts Association Exhibition and was featured by Fox News for its striking realism, technical mastery, and emotional depth. That same year, she exhibited with Galeria Azur during Miami Art Week at the Red Dot and Spectrum Miami art fairs in Wynwood, Miami.
